Role Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) supports patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiovascular procedures. This position is responsible for assessing patients before and after procedures, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring patient status during recovery, and collaborating with cardiologists and the Cath lab team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes. Hours: PRN during Monday‑Friday What You’ll Do Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab and recovery settings Monitor patient status before, during, and after cardiac and vascular procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional Cath lab procedures Administer medications, monitor cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes in patient condition Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and patients Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety and infection prevention protocols Support patient education regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions Ensure proper operation and handling of Cath lab equipment and supplies What You’ll Bring Graduate of an accredited RN program Current RN license (unencumbered) At least 1 year of Cath Lab, ICU, ER, telemetry, or critical care nursing experience (within the last 3–5 years) Current BLS certification required ACLS certification required (or obtained within 6 months of hire) Preferred: Prior experience with cardiac monitoring, moderate sedation, or interventional procedures Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high‑acuity situations Physical & Work Environment Requirements Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity Exposure to procedural environments, radiation, medical equipment, and patient care areas Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations Full‑time, on‑site position (Monday–Friday with possible call rotation) Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay with medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays Supportive, team‑oriented work environment Compass Surgical Partners is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
