Title
Labor & Delivery RN - Labor & Delivery

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Epic charting experience required
- Valid compact state nursing license must be active at the time of submission
- Certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
- Preferred certification: ACLS
- Core clinical skills: labor & delivery care, triage of obstetrical patients, sterile vaginal exams, circulating for C-sections, management/administration of blood products and medications, neonatal transition care, assistance in high-risk deliveries

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide care for laboring patients, including low-risk antepartum and labor & delivery
- Attend and manage deliveries, including high-risk situations
- Circulate in C-sections and GYN surgeries, providing post-operative care as needed
- Manage couplet care and assist in the transition nursery
- Perform triage for obstetrical patients, including assessment and intervention as necessary
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and best practices in maternal care

Compliance / Notes
- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities; refusal may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
- All RTO/scheduling requests must be submitted upfront with submittal
- References and background checks required; the facility does not accept certain verification methods
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine status is unknown
