Senior Accountant, Private Equity Tech Funds

Company Overview & Benefits The firm offers a highly competitive total compensation and benefits package, including: Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus (up to $145k package) Strong retirement plan with employer contribution Comprehensive healthcare coverage Hybrid work environment (3/2 model) Collaborative, team-oriented culture with strong mentorship High visibility to senior leadership and decision-makers Clear path for career progression within finance Responsibilities Fund Accounting & Reporting Ownership: Support accounting and financial reporting for funds, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all deliverables Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Fund-Level Activity & Allocations: Assist with capital activity, investor allocations, and performance tracking across multiple funds Close Process Execution: Participate in month-end and quarter-end close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis Financial Analysis & Insights: Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions and reporting needs Process Improvement & Automation: Contribute to enhancing workflows, systems, and reporting efficiencies within the finance function Ad Hoc & Strategic Projects: Work closely with senior leadership on special projects and broader strategic initiatives What We’re Looking For 2-6 years of experience in public accounting or fund accounting, preferably within alternative investments CPA or progress toward certification strongly preferred Experience with private equity, hedge funds, or investment management structures Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr Origin Staffing
