We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient clinic team in Waynesboro, VA. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, hands-on care to a diverse patient population. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deliver prescribed physical therapy treatments as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and sports-related conditions
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual techniques, and modalities
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50-55 patient visits per week (10-12 patients per day)
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Foster a positive and supportive patient experience

Qualifications and Experience:

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Virginia PTA license or eligibility for licensure
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care

Experience Requirements:

• New graduates are welcome for permanent positions
• Minimum 1 year of experience required for travel roles
