Nurse Practice Specialist - Perioperative Services

Job Summary

Responsible for enhancing nursing practice standards and promoting professional development within our hospital through developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based nursing practice standards and protocols. This role will focus on the Perioperative services areas.

Qualifications

Education:

• Associate's Degree Nursing required
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Master's Degree Nursing preferred

Licenses and Credentials:

• Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] required
• Basic Life Support certification required

Experience:

• Nursing experience 5-7 years required and Specialized clinical experience 3-5 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of evidence-based practice, quality improvement methodologies, and healthcare regulations.
• Extensive clinical experience with a focus on a specialized area within the hospital (e.g., critical care, oncology, etc.).
• Strong leadership, communication, and teaching skills.
• Strong communication skills both written and oral.
