Business Coordinator - Nursing Administration

Provides a broad range of administrative support to management team members in order to ensure departments adhere to all regulatory requirements, hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Exercises independent judgment and discretion, makes administrative decisions and takes action based on the knowledge and scope of the position, organization and its policies, procedures and personnel. Works with little or no supervision. Acts as a liaison on behalf of management team members in order to promote positive relations with physicians, hospital staff, volunteers and other departments. Diploma or GED 5 years Secretarial experience, preferably in a health care environment. 2 years' experience in Business Coordinator or similar role. Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training: 2 years of college or completion of business courses. Experience in an administrative secretarial/support capacity in a healthcare environment.
