Part-Time AM ServerThe Portland Regency Hotel & Spa is seeking a Part-Time AM Server to join our Food & Beverage team. Located in the heart of Portland’s historic Old Port District, our property is a proud Historic Hotel of America, known for exceptional guest service, timeless charm, and a welcoming team environment. If you enjoy hospitality, creating memorable guest experiences, and working in a fast-paced restaurant setting, we would love to hear from you.Schedule: Morning shift required: 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM, with flexibility to pick up PM and Banquet shiftsPosition SummaryThe AM Server is responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by professionally greeting them, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals efficiently, and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, team-oriented, and thrives in a guest-facing hospitality environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet guests warmly and professionallyTake food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS systemMonitor order timing and ensure prompt, accurate serviceDeliver food and beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient mannerAssist with opening, closing, and side work dutiesRestock service items throughout the shiftMaintain cleanliness and organization of the outletSupport fellow servers, hosts, food runners, and supervisorsHandle guest concerns professionally and escalate to management when neededFollow all Maine liquor laws and hotel safety proceduresAssist with training new team members as neededQualificationsPrevious restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience preferredStrong guest service and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced team environmentReliable, punctual, and professional demeanorComfortable standing and walking for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 25 poundsTIPS Certification requiredHigh school diploma or GED preferredWhy Join Us?At The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa, we take pride in delivering exceptional experiences for our guests.
