Nurse Practitioner-Dermatology

Banner University Medical Group is growing and interviewing Nurse Practitioners to provide exceptional patient care services as part of the Dermatology team. The position provides exposure to a wide range of procedures and patient cases, with a strong support system to help you develop your expertise. The scope of practice will be based on your skill level and professional interests. At least 50% of the practice focuses on General Dermatology. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient management, prescribing and managing medications, coordinating care, and referring for additional procedures as appropriate. Practice Highlights Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Daytime Hours (One session of 4 hour block per week for Admin time) No Call 100% Ambulatory; Outpatient Only Performs comprehensive skin, hair, and nail examinations and formulates dermatologic diagnoses and treatment plans. Obtains and reviews dermatologic and general medical histories, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation in the electronic health record. Orders and interprets diagnostic tests such as skin biopsies, fungal cultures, blood work, and imaging studies as appropriate for dermatologic conditions. Determines and implements evidence-based treatment plans for a wide range of acute and chronic dermatologic conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, and skin cancers). Monitors patient progress, evaluates treatment effectiveness, and modifies care plans as clinically indicated. Collaboration 5 physicians, 9 residents, Bolstering our Clinical Presence in the Community. Minimum Qualifications NP Certification is required. (Open to New Grads) Experience performing dermatologic procedures is preferred but not required. On the job training will be provided as needed. Ability to work with physicians as well as residents and fellows.
