Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Imaging Admin

Description Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is full‑time and will work 10‑hour variable shifts. Responsibilities Under minimal supervision, performs and documents quality nuclear medicine procedures (invasive and noninvasive) on neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a timely manner as ordered by the physician. Supports supervisor and radiologist in carrying out their duties that contribute to an effective and efficient Nuclear Medicine department. Promotes positive working relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other staff, demonstrating teamwork to ensure excellent patient care. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent education/experience. Participation in a continuing education program. Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist – National Board of Certified Technologists or Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association 1 year experience as a technologist in a hospital or imaging center setting. Preferred Qualifications 2 years experience as a technologist in a hospital or imaging center setting. Wage Range Pay Range: $55.35 – $87.39 per hour, plus potential additional compensation for shifts and overtime.
