Professional Voice Actor - German (AI Training) About the Role What if your voice could directly shape how AI communicates with millions of German speakers around the world? We're looking for experienced German-speaking voice actors and voice-over professionals to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech - helping build the next generation of intelligent voice systems. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. Your work will not involve voice cloning of any kind - just professional performance and expert evaluation that makes AI sound more human. Organization : Alignerr Type : Hourly Contract Location : Remote Commitment : Flexible hours, work on your own schedule What You'll Do Record professional-grade German voice performances using a large diaphragm microphone, following provided scripts and prompts Evaluate AI-generated German speech for naturalness, pronunciation accuracy, tonal quality, and emotional expression Provide detailed, actionable feedback to help improve synthesized voice outputs Review and suggest adjustments to scripts to enhance clarity and ensure authentic, natural-sounding delivery Work independently and asynchronously - fully on your own schedule Who You Are Native or near-native fluency in German with strong command of pronunciation and natural speech patterns Background in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or other performance-based audio work Access to a large diaphragm microphone and a quiet, acoustically controlled recording environment Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and clearly articulated vocal performances across a range of styles and tones Naturally detail-oriented when it comes to evaluating nuance in tone, pacing, and pronunciation No AI or tech background required Nice to Have Experience evaluating or directing voice recordings in a professional or semi-professional capacity Familiarity with audio production workflows or recording software Awareness of regional German speech variations - Austrian, Swiss, or otherwise Background in linguistics, communications, or performing arts Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and Fortune 500 companies Fully remote and flexible - record and evaluate on your own schedule, from your own studio Freelance autonomy with the structure of clear, well-defined tasks Your voice directly contributes to AI systems that shape how technology speaks to the world Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch Gain firsthand exposure to state-of-the-art large language models and AI voice training workflows Alignerr
