Job Summary
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse located in the area responsible for providing critical care to patients in the ICU setting. The role involves supporting the organizations healthcare team by assisting with patient monitoring, assessments, and interventions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: ICU RN float on a rotational basis, with a primary emphasis on assisting with tech-like tasks and patient care support in the ICU. When floated, nurses will typically be called back to ICU if increased census requires. Orientation begins on 11/2, 11/9, and 11/16. The role requires working 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current ICU and/or Critical Care Unit experience, charge RN experience, EPIC system proficiency, Iowa license or multi-state compact license, American Heart Association or ARC ACLS, BLS, PALS certification, NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: NIH Stroke Scale certification highly preferred, certification in Philips monitoring equipment highly preferred, experience in ICU/CCU with EPIC EMR.
• Additional Information: The position requires working 1-2 of the upcoming winter Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day). Float rotation may be required, and nurses floated to ICU will always be called back if needed for increased census. Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on drivers license.
