About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00) Experience: 2 years preferred; 1.5 years hard stop License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Epic Experience required 2 years of experience preferred; 1.5 years hard stop No first-time travelers allowed Must be available for on-call duties: 2 nights per week + 1 weekend every 2 weeks, totaling 7 days per 2 weeks Weekend coverage may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs Description: The Cath Lab RN will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing catheterization procedures. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and be proficient in endovascular procedures. Experience in monitoring patients during and after procedures is essential. The role requires effectiveness in managing equipment and instruments in the lab setting. Knowledge in interpreting cardiac rhythms and assisting in emergency interventions is crucial. Candidates should be skilled in patient assessment and promoting patient comfort and safety during procedures. Ensure compliance with all protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams is essential for optimal patient outcomes. Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to respond to unit needs is required.
