A highly regarded and award-winning medical center in Southern California is seeking a dedicated RN Nurse Manager to lead its Mother Baby Unit. This position offers a $10,000$20,000 hiring bonus (based on eligibility), management of a 24-room Mother Baby Unit with 4050 direct reports, and recognition nationally for patient safety, maternal care, and clinical excellence. Key responsibilities include leading, supervising, and coordinating day-to-day clinical operations in the Mother Baby Unit, fostering a high-performing team culture focused on safety, quality, and patient satisfaction, ensuring compliance with care standards and supporting ongoing quality improvement initiatives, mentoring, coaching, and supporting staff development and engagement, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote efficient patient care delivery.

Required qualifications include a Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field, current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California, BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire), California Fire and Life Safety Card (within 30 days of hire), and completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior training within 90 days.

Preferred qualifications include a Masters Degree in Nursing or a related field, 2+ years of recent experience in a clinical leadership role (e.g., Nurse Manager, ANM), and 3+ years of hands-on experience in a hospital-based Mother Baby, Obstetrics, or Labor & Delivery unit.
