Powder Coating Technician

Location:  Cincinnati, OH 45232

1st Shift:  Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM - 3 PM

Starting Pay: $25 - $30 based on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Powder Coating Technician to join their manufacturing team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys producing quality work, takes pride in attention to detail, and is willing to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Sandblast, clean, tape, and prepare parts for coating
• Rack parts and apply powder coating
• Perform quality inspections after curing
• Maintain proper chemical tank concentrations
• Complete production paperwork and work orders
• Follow all safety and quality procedures
• Assist with shipping, shop cleaning, and other duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of powder coating experience preferred
• Experience operating powder coating equipment
• Basic computer skills for data entry and work orders
• Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Preferred Experience

• Parker Ionics Powder Spray Systems
• Kremlin Wet Spray Systems
• Forklift and overhead crane operation

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and material handling
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
