About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Enterprise Applications to lead the strategic and operational management of clinical, business, and revenue cycle systems across its multi-facility integrated health system. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and support of a range of applications, ensuring their integration and performance meet the organization's needs. This role involves supervising a team of IT application managers, supervisors, and analysts, and serving as a key advisor to executive and departmental leaders on the application of computing techniques. The AVP will also be involved in governance, team development, collaboration with various stakeholders, and will be expected to maintain high standards of compliance and professional conduct. Applicants for the AVP position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and 5-10 years' of relevant experience, with a strong background in health system EMR or EHR. A minimum of 5 years' in a clinical information systems role and at least 10 years' of progressive management experience in a large integrated healthcare system are required. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in strategic and tactical partnerships, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships. The ideal candidate will have a high level of accountability, the capacity to balance strategic and operational demands, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Experience in change management, training, and a focus on customer satisfaction are also essential.
