Parts ManagerLocation: NJ several locations and brands within Performance Auto Group Employment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryThe Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Parts Department to ensure efficient inventory management, excellent customer service, and strong profitability. This role requires leadership, organizational skills, and in-depth knowledge of Ford parts, systems, and dealership operations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of the Parts Department, including inventory control, purchasing, pricing, and merchandisingMaintain optimal inventory levels to support service, body shop, and retail operations while minimizing obsolescenceEnsure compliance with Ford Motor Company policies, procedures, and warranty requirementsLead, train, and motivate parts department staff to achieve performance and customer satisfaction goalsOversee wholesale and retail parts sales, including maintaining strong relationships with vendors and local accountsMonitor department financial performance, including gross profit, expenses, and key performance indicatorsUtilize dealership management systems (DMS) to track inventory, sales, and reportingHandle customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely mannerEnsure a clean, organized, and safe parts departmentCollaborate with Service, Sales, and Body Shop departments to maximize operational efficiencyQualificationsPrevious experience as a Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager (Ford experience preferred)Strong knowledge of Ford parts, catalog systems, and dealership operationsExperience with DMS systems (Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)Proven leadership and team management skillsStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off and holidaysEmployee discounts on vehicles, parts, and serviceOngoing training and career development opportunitiesEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
