Motorcycle Sales Associate

Reports To: Sales Manager

Position Summary

The Motorcycle Sales Associate is responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences while helping customers find the Harley-Davidson motorcycle that best fits their lifestyle. Success in this role comes from building relationships, understanding customer needs, following the dealership sales process, and delivering an unforgettable purchase experience.

What You'll Do

Motorcycle Sales

• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Assist customers in selecting new and pre-owned Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
• Demonstrate motorcycle features and benefits.
• Conduct test rides and product demonstrations.
• Explain financing, protection products, and extended service plans.
• Present trade-in values and purchase options.
• Maintain dealership profit objectives while providing outstanding customer value.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Ensure every motorcycle delivery is a memorable experience.

Customer Experience

• Welcome every guest with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Build lasting relationships with customers before, during, and after the sale.
• Follow up with customers through phone calls, email, text messaging, and CRM tools.
• Handle customer questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Generate referrals and repeat business.
• Participate in dealership events, open houses, bike nights, demo days, and community rides.

Teamwork

• Work closely with Parts & Accessories, MotorClothes®, Service, and Finance & Insurance departments.
• Promote Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) memberships and dealership events.
• Maintain product knowledge through Harley-Davidson training.
• Help maintain an organized and attractive showroom.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Positive attitude
• Self-motivation
• Professional appearance
• Ability to work weekends and some evenings
• Valid motorcycle endorsement (preferred but not required)
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
