Physician Physiatry/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - Competitive Salary

AdventHealth Georgia is seeking a  Board Certified/Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our growing inpatient rehabilitation team. As a member of our inpatient rehabilitation program, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care to patients recovering from stroke, neurologic disorders, orthopedic conditions, traumatic injuries, and medical debility.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Provide medical management of inpatient rehabilitation patients
\n
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and ongoing assessments
\n
• Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams, including therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and specialists
\n
• Perform daily patient rounding and oversee rehabilitation treatment plans
\n
• Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care
\n
• Develop individualized care plans focused on functional recovery and patient-centered outcomes
\n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development
\n
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards for inpatient rehabilitation services
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• MD or DO degree
\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) or related specialty
\n
• Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine preferred (or equivalent procedural experience)
\n
• Eligible for or active Georgia medical license
\n
• DEA license (or ability to obtain)
\n
• Experience in both inpatient rehab and outpatient interventional pain settings (preferred)
\n
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
