Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Emergency Care

Schedule

6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, with a commitment of every other weekend (Friday/Saturday).

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide care for patients with pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders. The therapist will deliver emergency care, intensive therapeutic treatment, invasive and non-invasive monitoring, diagnostic testing, and patient education. The role involves monitoring and maintaining respiratory equipment, as well as participating in quality assurance and improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients in a variety of settings.
• Monitor and maintain respiratory therapy equipment.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
• Educate patients on the management of pulmonary disorders.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2+ years of RRT experience is required.
• Comfortable with ventilators and EKGs.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NBRC.
• State licensure in Michigan is required.
