MATHEMATICS LECTURER

Join an interdisciplinary program for fifty first‑year students where physics, mathematics, and chemistry are integrated with the humanities. The primary responsibility is to teach the first‑year math curriculum (calculus, multivariable calculus, and differential equations) with a full teaching load of two 12‑unit subjects each term, typically six firm hours of lecture and four hours of recitation. Lecturer will supervise TAs conducting recitation work, coordinate all curriculum elements—including topics, homework, and exams—with other lecturers to ensure a truly integrated experience for the students. Beyond the classroom, lecturers are an active part of the Concourse community, participating in our weekly program seminar (about two hours per week), advising students, and joining in program reviews.
