Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights, 4x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in med/surg nursing, telemetry, and be well-versed in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit, managing patients with varying acuities.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, addressing any dysrhythmias promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records within the electronic health record (Epic).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Float to like units with like patients to meet facility needs as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Med/surg experience is a must, with telemetry experience preferred.
