Service Technician – Commercial Kitchen Equipment Job Overview We repair broasters, smokers, toasters, grills, ovens, dough rollers, and juice equipment across Wisconsin, Chicagoland, and Indiana. The main office is located in Buffalo Grove, IL. Responsibilities Repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment (broasters, smokers, toasters, grills, ovens, dough rollers, and juice equipment). Plan and prioritize tasks in a self‑directed work environment. Report to work daily, including weekend and holiday on‑call as needed. Maintain high levels of productivity without direct supervision. Qualifications 6 months to 3 years experience in HVAC/R, electrical, and facilities maintenance, preferably within the food/restaurant industry. High school diploma or equivalent; college or trade level courses in air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, and electronics. Must pass a credit check and a background check. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Working knowledge of restaurant equipment, basic plumbing, troubleshooting, and repair. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and preventative maintenance programs. Ability to read and interpret diagrams and equipment specifications. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, stand for long periods, squat, kneel, and climb; ability to read and write English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required. Veterans welcome to apply.
