Senior Facilities Engineer

Overview Manager for Buildings & Grounds – responsible for managing pest control program, elevators maintenance, landscaping, coffee services, cafeteria operations/maintenance, janitorial services, and interior/exterior building maintenance (corrective, preventive, predictive). This role coordinates maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and facilities, and collaborates with architecture/engineering firms and contractors. Responsibilities Plan, design, and oversee reconfigurations, maintenance and alterations of equipment, machinery, buildings, and structures. Gather and review data on facility or equipment specifications, regulatory restrictions, completion deadlines, and construction feasibility. Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms to develop design criteria, layout, and detail drawings. Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facility acquisition. Review and estimate design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, and other related costs. Inspect or direct inspections of construction/installation progress to ensure conformance to drawings, specifications, and schedules. Deliver and/or manage R&D, systems, or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies, from design to implementation. Coordinate real-time improvement processes and initiatives to enhance building maintenance efficiency. Requirements Must Have: Bachelor’s Degree. 4+ years of facilities engineering related experience. Nice To Have: Advanced Degree. Project Management experience. Benefits & Compensation MiniMed offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. Salary ranges (U.S. excluding PR): $87,000.00 - $149,000.00. For roles in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City: $97,000 - $165,000 USD. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Short‑Term Incentive (STI) eligibility.
