Registered Nurse - Claremont, NC

Days/Hours of Position: 2nd Shift - Monday - Friday 12:00am - 8:00am

Occupational health nursing is the specialty practice that delivers health and safety programs and services to workers and worker populations. The practice focuses on promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury, and protection from work-related and environmental hazards.

This position will conduct medical history and physical assessments and adhere to the highest standard of confidentiality. This position may involve additional occupational health nurse duties as assigned by manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Completion of a registered nursing program required. Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse required.

Experience: 1 plus years’ experience in the performance of nursing skills relative to occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system.

Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong problem solving and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements: Physical requirements include walking through the plant to ensure team member and supervisor compliance with prescribed modified restricted duty requirements. This will include walking up steps and using ladders.
