Documentation is performed using an electronic medical system. Crisis intervention support is provided to patients in distress. The responsibilities include developing care plans with specific goals. Monitoring physical and psychological symptoms is essential. Therapeutic communication is critical for patient engagement. The unit serves various populations with different acuity levels.
