Clinical Specialist - Cardiac Rhythm Management (Akron/Canton, OH)

Medtronic seeks a Clinical Specialist for Cardiac Rhythm Management in the Akron/Canton area to provide technical, educational, and operational support for CRM devices and therapies. The role involves extensive travel throughout the territory, direct customer support at clinical sites, and collaboration with sales and clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical support for CRM devices including system checks, implant support, and troubleshooting using field training knowledge
• Coordinate operational activities such as patient documentation, inventory management, programmer software maintenance, and coverage logistics
• Educate physicians, hospital staff, and field team members on CRM products, therapies, and patient management solutions
• Travel extensively within territory (approximately 80%) to support customer clinics, hospitals, and business meetings
• Identify customer opportunities, support sales activities, monitor competitive landscape, and provide feedback to achieve sales goals

Requirements

• High school diploma plus 6+ years healthcare/field sales experience, or associate's degree plus 4+ years, or bachelor's degree plus 2+ years
• Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and driving record meeting company standards
• Ability to lift 40 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8+ hours daily, and work in clinical environments with radiation exposure
• Bachelor's degree in nursing, life sciences, or biomedical engineering preferred
• 2+ years cath lab, EP lab, or cardiology hospital/clinic experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical device industry
