Job Summary Expanded-Day Learning Classroom Lead (4.7 hours per day)PCN# 260193 - Virginia Peterson ElementaryUnder the direction of the After-School Program coordinator and Site Leader, the Expanded-Day Learning Classroom Lead will assist in the care, supervision, planning and implementation of learning activities of children enrolled in the After-School Program in accordance with school district policies and in compliance with State and Federal regulations. Requirements / Qualifications Education:*High School Graduation or equivalent (required)Must meet one of the following requirements:~48 semester college units required (provide transcripts)~Pass District Paraeducator Exam**This district exam is given every Thursday at the PRJUSD District office at 1 pm (800 Niblick Rd, Paso Robles)**~Certificate of Proficiency for Instructional Aides (NCLB certificate)~College Associates degree or higherEXPERIENCE:Knowledge of the general needs and behavior of children.Experience working in an educational setting (desired) Classified Salary Schedule #3; Range 16: ($19.09 - $25.59) Not all postings qualify for CalPERS.
