Studio Assistant

Studio Assistants The Networks of Mid-Missouri is seeking part-time Studio Assistants with interest in Newscast Directing to help in the production of our morning and evening newscasts. Responsibilities include the direction and technical direction of newscasts, pre-production, graphic production, robotic camera, audio board, video editing software and teleprompter operation, and other duties as assigned. Applicants must have knowledge of newscast production techniques, strong management skills and the ability to multi-task while leading the behind-the-scenes crew of live newscasts. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Chyron graphic products is helpful. Basic media production skills and/or related coursework in television/radio are also helpful. Candidate must have a valid Missouri driver's license and pass a drug test and background check. Hours include morning crew: 3:30-7am, with flexibility required by the employee.
