Senior Mechanical EngineerThe Senior Mechanical Engineer position is a full-time exempt position. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible to develop mechanical designs and/or drawings, performing structural analysis, and support manufacturing and hardware integration for a broad range of aerospace systems. The individual will report to the Program Manager.ResponsibilitiesDevelop mechanical designs and/or drawings to support the hardware development life cycle based on system requirementsCollaborate with the program engineering team or customer to develop mechanical system requirementsPerform structural analysis of mechanical designs to validate system performance requirementsDevelop presentation materials of design solutions, methodologies, trade studies, etc., for design reviewsInterface with the engineering and manufacturing team on the development of hardware solutionsProduce engineering products in support of customer requirements.Support program meetings and reviews as required.Support other duties as assigned.Skills and CompetenciesBS degree in Mechanical Engineering required.8+ years of mechanical engineering experience with complex aerospace systems required.Highly proficient with SolidWorks, CREO or other CAD software.Experience with formal design reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDRDemonstrated experience and an ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and with other engineers collaboratively.Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.ClearanceSecret Clearance Required.
