Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift: 4x10 hours (07:30 - 18:00), with potential early shifts starting at 06:30. Some shifts may require working late hours to complete all patients.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic and interventional skills in a cardiac catheterization laboratory environment. Key responsibilities include performing diagnostic catheterizations, managing procedural sedation, and ensuring infection prevention protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Monitor and manage patients during procedures, including sedation and hemodynamic assessment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
• Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately.
• Responsible for compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Proficient in interventional procedures including PCI and cardiac stent placement.
• Experience with IABP placement/removal and Impella insertion preferred.
• Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring techniques and infection prevention practices.
