FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (FULL AND PART TIME)

We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time Food Service Worker/Cashier positions at Case Western Reserve University – 11038 Bellflower Road, Cleveland, OH 44106. Online applications are accepted only. Responsibilities Perform cashiering duties including sales transactions, handling cash, and ensuring accurate purchase records. Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service. Resolve customer complaints in a service‑oriented manner and communicate relevant information to supervisors. Carry food to and from work stations, ensuring safety standards and proper storage. Prepare food by washing, peeling, cutting, and weighing ingredients; follow approved recipes and production standards. Keep work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and maintain sanitation and safety requirements. Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness. Reconcile cash drawer, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards, and issue cash refunds as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications One year of previous customer service experience preferred. Ability to work flexible hours and maintain full availability on days and hours that may vary.
