About Empowered Services Empowered Services provides one-on-one support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in home and community settings. Our team focuses on helping individuals build independence, develop daily living skills, and stay actively engaged in their communities through compassionate, person-centered support. Position Summary We are currently hiring a dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide morning support for an adult living in the Portland area. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating consistent routines, encouraging independence, and building positive, supportive relationships. What You’ll Do Support daily living routines and personal care needs Encourage independence and healthy habits Assist with community outings, errands, and activities Provide calm, respectful, and reliable support Help maintain a safe and structured environment Communicate important updates with the support team as needed About the Individual You will be supporting an adult who benefits from consistency, encouragement, and patient guidance. They enjoy getting out into the community for shopping and errands and do best with a provider who can help maintain a positive, structured morning routine. This role is a great fit for someone who values relationship-based care and enjoys making a meaningful difference through steady, one-on-one support. Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM Compensation & Benefits $23–$25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
