At AT&T, you won’t just imagine the future—you’ll build it.What you’ll do:Performance Analysis and Optimization: Monitor and optimize network performance, troubleshoot issues, analyze RAN data, and perform RF optimization and capacity management.Implementation and Configuration: Deploy network solutions, conduct testing and validation, manage configurations, and oversee the installation, maintenance, and optimization of wireless RAN systems.Network Design and Planning: Develop network layouts, ensure compliance, conduct feasibility studies, perform capacity planning, and manage cell site equipment layout and parameter definition.Collaboration and Coordination: Work with stakeholders, manage vendor relationships, provide customer support, and coordinate installation, maintenance, and optimization activities with various teams.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues.What you’ll bring:As Principal RAN Engineering, you will be providing your expertise in radio frequency (RF) engineering and Radio Access Network (RAN) design engineering to ensure robust and efficient network performance.An expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results. Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies. Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.Drive innovation in RAN technologies; provide strategic guidance on complex engineering problems.What you’ll need:Required Experience:7+ years of related experience in area of professional responsibilityCertification may be required in some areas.Desired Education:Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in a Technical or Engineering concentration or equivalent experience preferred.Supervisor: NoEnvironmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
