Physics Adjunct

Job Description The Department of Chemistry and Physics invites applications for part-time (adjunct) faculty to teach entry-level Physics courses during Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, pending enrollment needs. Responsibilities Teach lecture and/or laboratory courses in a face‑to‑face instructional format. Prepare and deliver course content, assessments, and feedback to students. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to course development as needed. Qualifications Master’s degree in Physics. Prior experience teaching in a higher education environment is preferred. Licensing or certifications required by statute or regulation, if applicable. Background Check This position is subject to the successful completion of an employment background check, which includes a criminal background check, employment verification, reference checks, license verification (if applicable), and credit history check (if applicable).
