Faithful Home Care Solutions Caregiver PositionFaithful Home Care Solutions is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and experienced caregiver to provide part-time care for a client in the Elkins Park area. Services are needed ASAP. This opportunity is ideal for a caregiver looking for a part-time schedule with flexible daytime hours.Position OverviewThe Direct Care Worker will provide non-medical personal care and supportive services to help the client remain safe, comfortable, and independent in her home and community. The caregiver will assist with transportation to appointments, medication reminders, light meal preparation, household tasks, and general supervision and companionship.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide companionship and supportive supervisionAssist with fall prevention and safety awarenessProvide medication reminders according to the care planDrive the client to physical therapy and doctor's appointmentsAssist with making the bed and changing linensAssist with laundry and other light household tasksPrepare simple meals, such as sandwiches, soup, or other light lunchesAssist with activities of daily living as neededProvide support related to the client's left-side neglect following a strokeEncourage independence while providing appropriate assistanceMaintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environmentCommunicate effectively with the client, family, and care teamMaintain strict client confidentialityFollow the individualized care plan and agency policiesShift RequirementsPart-Time Schedule – Elkins ParkThe client is seeking one of the following scheduling arrangements:2–3 days per week, approximately 4 hours per dayOR4 days per week, approximately 2 hours per daySchedule and days will be discussed and finalized based on client needs and caregiver availability.Start Date: ASAPQualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or GED preferredAbility to read, write, and communicate effectivelyExperiencePrevious caregiving experience preferredExperience caring for stroke survivors preferredExperience working with clients who are at risk for fallsComfortable providing medication remindersComfortable assisting with transportation to medical and therapy appointmentsAbility to assist with light housekeeping and simple meal preparationCompassionate, patient, dependable, and attentive to client safetyLicensure & Other RequirementsValid driver's licenseReliable and insured transportationClean driving record preferredSatisfactory background checkProfessional referencesBenefitsCompetitive payPaid overtime, when applicableMedical and dental insurance for eligible full-time employeesOngoing training and professional developmentSupportive office teamEmployee and client referral bonusesAbout Faithful Home Care SolutionsFaithful Home Care Solutions is a licensed, Medicaid-certified, non-medical home care agency based in Glenside, Pennsylvania.
