Looking for a steady, hands-on job with a four-day regular workweek and the opportunity to become a permanent employee? We're hiring Assembly Workers in Hastings! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team and seeing the results of their work.

Pay & Schedule

• $17.50/hour
• Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM-5:00 PM
• Overtime required as production demands
• Must be available to work up to two Saturdays per month when required
• Temp-to-hire opportunity
• First-day orientation: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM

Important: New hires should be prepared to stand throughout the three-day orientation. Orientation is interactive and involves plenty of movement, but participants will be on their feet for the duration.

What You'll Do

As an Assembly Worker, you'll work as part of a team assembling products and components in a fast-paced production environment. Depending on staffing, production needs, training and experience, you may rotate between different workstations.

Responsibilities include:

• Read and follow assembly procedures, drawings and standard work instructions
• Assemble products and components accurately and efficiently
• Keep pace with high-volume production
• Inspect completed work and perform quality checks and tests
• Use power, pneumatic, Smart Torque and hand tools as needed
• Rotate between workstations based on production needs
• Identify problems and help find possible solutions
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
• Follow all company safety, quality and production procedures
• Contribute ideas that support continuous improvement

Paid Time Off While on Assignment

Contract employees in good standing may be eligible for 10 hours of paid time off after 30 days. Eligibility is based on attendance, performance and other criteria determined through the temporary employee evaluation process.
