ProPartners Financial is a part of the Farm Credit System and is the System's Center of Excellence for input financing programs for Agribusinesses. The Farm Credit System provides loans, leases, and related services to farmers, ranchers, rural homeowners, aquatic producers, timber harvesters, agribusinesses, and agricultural and rural utility cooperatives and has more than $349 billion in assets. Position Overview: This position services ProPartners Financial's internal and external clients by providing accounting services in an assigned area, to include loans, by analyzing requests and creating accounting system entries using appropriate procedures and accounting principles. Ensures a high degree of accuracy and exceptional service. Serves as a knowledge and technical resource to other team members with regard to accounting processes in assigned area.

Essential Functions:

• Analyzes and creates accounting system entries using the appropriate procedures and accounting principles for basic to moderate transactions.
• Monitors loan exceptions.
• Provides technical support for ProPartners Financial team members and/or vendors regarding issues with assigned accounting function (loan or GL clearing account transactions), in accordance with department and organizational policies and procedures.
• Works closely with team members to ensure issues are resolved in an accurate and timely manner to minimize potential client concerns.
• Verifies transaction entries to ensure accuracy in the accounting system database.
• Authors department information on the ProPartners Financial Intranet site.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience required, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong, proven interpersonal, communication, client service and team skills.
• A high degree of accuracy, strong attention to detail, strong analytical skills, ability to problem solve, ability to meet deadlines and ability to work independently required.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) and other related accounting and/or reporting writing software applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.
• Valid driver's license.
