Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

LLA Therapy provides school‑based speech‑language pathology services across Northeast Ohio, supporting students and school personnel through collaborative, evidence‑based treatment and evaluation. Essential Accountabilities for the Speech‑Language Pathologist Provide ongoing treatment to assigned caseload Document, monitor, analyze, and report students’ progress and effects of treatment regularly in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures. Conduct educationally relevant evaluations and report findings within Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs). Write educationally relevant therapy goals and relevant student background information within Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs). Attend and report evaluation findings and therapy recommendations in family‑friendly language during IEP and ETR meetings. Contribute to building a positive, supportive, and learning culture through collaboration and ongoing communication between school personnel and families. Maintain and document ongoing therapy minutes and report due dates. Complete necessary Medicaid billing in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures. Requirements Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology. Current licensure to practice Speech Language Therapy within the state of Ohio. Valid driver’s license. Must be proficient in English; reading, comprehending, and understanding the English language. Pass an FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire). Current Ohio Department of Education Certification (can be completed upon hire). Professional liability insurance, recommended by governing body.
