Device Repair Specialist
Device Repair Specialists will be responsible for configuring, repairing, troubleshooting and modifying PCs, tablets, cell phones, and other devices as needed. Device Repair Specialists must be self-starters and have the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of computer hardware and software
- Ability to function in a self-directed environment
- Ability to handle clients professionally during all interfaces
- Research and master all electronic devices in product line with regard to hardware and software configuration, troubleshooting and modifications on all applications
- Some board-level repair, soldering and / or rebuilding of electronic devices
Knowledge and Experience:
- AS/AA in electronics, information systems and/or telecommunications or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of one or more operating systems
- Apple iOS
- Android OS
- Windows 7/10
- Linux
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Well organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated, challenge-driven individual
- Strong desire to learn and work in a fast paced, changing environment
