Respiratory Therapist – Be the Heart of Medically Complex Care  

BridgePoint Continuing Care Hospital - WJMC Campus | Marrero, LA 
Located on 4th Floor of West Jefferson Medical Center

Position Type: Per Diem, PRN

Shifts Available : Nights 7p-730a 

 

Rate of Pay: $24.23 to $38.77 (plus Shift Diffs as applicable) 

PRN Rate of Pay: $29

10K Sign On Bonus for Full Time - Must have +1 years of experience & sign offer letter by August 31, 2026

What You’ll Be Doing:  

Respiratory Therapist – RT is responsible for administering safe and competent respiratory care as ordered by a physician. The Respiratory Therapist – RT monitors mechanical ventilation, administers medications, and completes patient assessments. The Respiratory Therapist – RT must understand ramifications of hemodynamic monitoring, reviews blood work results, monitor patient status, and participate in teaching and training.

Respiratory Care Practitioners, RRT, Registered Respiratory Therapist, Certified Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Care Provider, RCP, RT, CRT

Requirements:  

Education: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Respiratory Care.

Licenses/Certification: Current credentials as a Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current licensure from state licensure agency. BLS & ACLS Certifications required.

Experience: 1 year of respiratory care experience preferred.
