The facility is a level III trauma center offering various healthcare services. The hospital provides care to a diverse patient population and includes multiple specialized units. The environment fosters opportunities for adventure and outdoor activities. The registered nurse will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients. Common diagnoses include cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and CHF. Patient ratios are typically 1:5 to 1:6. The equipment used includes vitals machines, bladder scanners, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps. The electronic health record system in use is Cerner. Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required. Oncology skills may be helpful but are not necessary. All staff are encouraged to work at least 2 weekend shifts per month. The role of the registered nurse is crucial in ensuring high-quality patient care.
