About The Role The Corporate Finance team is responsible for enterprise-wide planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation. We are strategic business partners who work cross‑functionally to shape Cloudflare’s growth, investment strategy, and operational efficiency. This is a high‑performing Finance Manager IC role that partners directly with senior leaders to drive decision‑making across the company. Locations Austin, US Denver, US San Francisco, US Seattle, US Responsibilities Partner with senior leaders to support enterprise‑level strategic planning, budgeting, and capital allocation decisions. Lead corporate forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning processes, establishing the cadence for annual planning and executive business reviews. Architect and continuously optimize comprehensive financial models across the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. Serve as a subject matter expert on areas such as share count, EPS, tax, and stock‑based compensation. Deliver clear, actionable financial insights through monthly reporting, variance analysis, and executive presentations. Work cross‑functionally to identify business drivers, trends, opportunities, and risks, aligning stakeholders and driving operational efficiency. Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate, timely closes and support management/external reporting. Support Investor Relations with model inputs, earnings release preparation, and Q&A. Contribute to M&A activities, board materials, and other strategic initiatives. Champion scalable, repeatable finance processes (automate, simplify, and eliminate routine work wherever possible). Support high‑impact special projects and ad‑hoc analysis as needed. Act as an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Director of Finance. Desirable Skills, Knowledge, And Experience 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance or Investment Banking with prior experience in a corporate FP&A function; high‑growth, public company SaaS experience preferred. Extensive experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Windsurf/Devin, Cursor, OpenCode, etc.) to automate workflows, accelerate financial modeling, analyze large datasets, and generate business insights. Finance‑minded with strong attention to detail and a focus on scalable, repeatable process execution. Intellectually curious with a problem‑solving orientation and strong business acumen; able to apply rigorous logic and sound methods to solve complex problems. Proven ability to build trust and align cross‑functional stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to distill complex business information into actionable takeaways for diverse audiences. Willingness to play “up and down the stack” diving into the details as well as managing executive‑level communications. Expert financial modeling skills with strong working knowledge of US GAAP; advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets required. High proficiency with financial systems; experience with Anaplan, NetSuite, RevPro, and Salesforce is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field. Compensation San Francisco: $154,000 – $211,000 annually. Seattle: $147,000 – $202,000 annually. Denver: $134,000 – $184,000 annually. Equity This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
