This assignment places you within a robust Emergency Department float pool at a large Level 1 trauma center. You'll primarily care for boarder patients within the ED, with the flexibility to support other acute units as needed. Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a similarly sized Level 1 trauma center
• Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
• Resume reflecting continuous employment (no gaps)
• Completion of an ED skills checklist
• Up-to-date, relevant ED references
• Ability to float efficiently, with adaptability to a variety of patient populations
• Badge-appropriate photo and full demographic information required

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to ED boarder patients (including med/surg, stepdown, and ICU cases)
• Float to other acute units when necessary, utilizing strong critical thinking and clinical skills
• Collaborate closely with physicians, emergency staff, and unit leadership
• Document all patient care activities thoroughly and accurately
• Uphold best practices in patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based emergency care
