Day Stocker - Retail

Stocker PositionA Day in the Life:As a Stocker, your day is centered around keeping shelves filled and the store ready for customers. During daytime hours, you'll work on the floor stocking products, organizing shelves, and assisting customers with questions or locating items.Another part of the role is maintaining organization behind the scenes. You'll move products from the backroom to the sales floor, rotate inventory, and keep aisles clear and easy to shop. Between handling freight, restocking shelves, and keeping work areas clean, the work stays steady making it a good fit for someone who enjoys physical tasks and a fast-paced environment.What you bring to the table:Customer Interaction Skills: Clear communication when assisting customers on the sales floorStocking & Merchandising: Placing product accurately on shelves and maintaining display standardsProduct Knowledge: Familiarity with store layout, product locations, and pricingAttention to Detail: Accuracy in stocking, rotation, labeling, and removing outdated productsOrganization & Time Management: Managing workload efficiently while maintaining clean, organized areasEquipment Use: Operating pallet jacks, box cutters, and store equipment following safety guidelinesInventory Awareness: Monitoring stock levels and maintaining backroom organizationOperational Awareness: Following company policies, safety procedures, and stocking processesAdaptability: Comfort working varied shifts, including day, evening, or overnight schedulesPhysical Capability: Comfort with frequent lifting, carrying, and movement, including lifting up to 60 lbs.Requirements :Must be 18 years of age or olderAbility to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers following training and safety guidelinesBasic math and communication skills requiredAvailability to work flexible shifts including daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidaysCompliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standardsPrior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferredWhy you will choose us:Albertsons Companies Inc. has always been a people-oriented business, and thoughtful people practices remain a core element of our company's philosophy.
