Vice President, Facilities Management About the Company Prominent provider of top-notch services Industry Consumer Services Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in need of a Vice President for Facilities Management to take on a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of a large, complex infrastructure facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Technical Services team, managing all facility operations, maintenance, and building systems, and ensuring the design, testing, and commissioning of new systems. A key aspect of the role is the development and monitoring of budgets, maintenance programs, and smart-technology initiatives, as well as the negotiation and management of service contracts to guarantee high-quality delivery. The VP will also be the primary point of contact for stakeholders, direct lifecycle asset management activities, and implement predictive maintenance through advanced systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, with advanced degrees preferred, and 10 to 15 years of progressive facilities management or technical operations experience in complex environments. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lifecycle asset management, and predictive maintenance is essential, as is proficiency with SCADA and MAXIMO. The role requires a proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams, managing both in-house and outsourced resources, and a strong focus on innovation, technology integration, and operational excellence. The candidate should possess excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
