Flex Physician Inpatient Pulmonary Medicine

Job Summary Flex Inpatient Pulmonary Position. Primarily weekends. Work available shifts when you wish! Job Duties Weekend shifts (typically 1/month) on inpatient consult service 8:00 am-5:00 pm rounding on patients on the pulmonary consultation list. Plus phone call after hours for sick calls and from the Emergency Department; not frequent but must be within 30 minutes of the hospital. Typical cases: COPD, exacerbation, pneumonia, pleural effusion, respiratory failure, etc. Ability to do bronchoscopy and thoracentesis is required. Education & Qualifications Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine - Required. Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania.
