• Shift Time: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Orientation: 40 hours
• On Call: No on-call
• Charting: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience required
• Active Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and RRT credentials
• Experience with ABGs, ventilator support, and respiratory equipment preferred
• Ability to work nights, every other weekend, and adapt to a fast-paced acute care hospital environment
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for adult critical care and emergency department patients
• Perform and interpret ABGs and assist with ventilator management
• Support intubation, extubation, tracheostomy care, and airway management
• Administer and monitor respiratory medications and therapies, including aerosol treatments and oxygen therapy
• Troubleshoot respiratory equipment and high-pressure alarms
• Assist with noninvasive ventilation, HFNC, CPAP, BiPAP, and mechanical ventilation weaning
• Use advanced equipment such as Hamilton G5, PB 980, V60, Optiflow, Lumis Tx, CoughAssist, Vest, and IPV
• Collaborate with respiratory services and rapid response teams to deliver high-quality patient care
