Job Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure/eligibility as applicable
• At least 1 year of critical care experience required
• Board-certified advanced practice provider with experience in a cardiac ICU setting
• Experience managing VA ECMO, VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant patients
• ACLS and BLS required
• Strong procedural skills and confidence in high-acuity patient management
• Must be available for night shifts, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide daily rounding and ongoing management of critically ill cardiac ICU patients
• Assist with admissions, post-operative management, and order entry
• Work under the guidance of an Intensivist to support coordinated patient care
• Perform procedures as needed, including arterial lines, central lines, Swan Ganz catheter placement, and IABP removal
• Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, team-based critical care environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
