Aegis is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our client's organization in Harwood Heights, IL. This position is a 6 month contract to hire job opportunity. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
- 1-3 years of quality experience (Technician, inspector calibration, etc.)
- Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
- Foundational exposure with visual and dimensional inspection/measurement tools; gages, calipers, calibrating tools, micrometers. etc.
- Basic understand of mechanical blueprints drawing (knowing tolerances specifically would be a HUGE plus)
- Pluses:
- Experience in CNC machining environment – can be a machine shop, equipment building, assembly environment, etc.
- PPAP & ISIR documentation familiarity
- Mechanical Hobbies like building or working on cars, apart of any clubs. Something where they are problem solving and working with their hands
- Strong computer skills – inputting and tracking data within an ERP & excel system would be a plus!
**Hourly Pay, Benefits offered after 90 days employment, PTO accrual schedule!
