Private Markets Fundraising/Marketing Analyst

Business Overview Neuberger is an employee-owned global investment management firm with $515 billion in assets under management. The private equity group, Neuberger Private Markets, manages over $140billion of client commitments. The Secondary Investment group within Neuberger Private Markets has approximately $22billion in assets under management and focuses on purchasing seasoned private equity investments. The Secondary Fundraising/Marketing team develops and implements fundraising strategy for the Secondary team, managing lifecycle from formation to fundraising and communications with investors. The team is now seeking an Analyst to support non-investment activities for the Secondary team. Primary Responsibilities Assist in managing fundraising processes Liaise with portfolio managers and sales force, legal, finance, and operations teams to deliver materials and respond to RfPs, manage prospect follow-ups, and answer client/prospect inquiries Manage fundraising activity across distribution channels Manage capital formation activities, including drafting legal documents, launching datarooms, and creating marketing materials Update fund marketing materials and other ongoing prospect communications Provide sales with tools such as content, customized materials, and education of the product Work closely with investment teams to provide communication and updates internally and externally during fundraising processes Perform quantitative analyses, benchmarking, and research Serve as a resource for the broader Neuberger sales teams for secondary-related matters Handle logistics related to closings, including coordination with sales, legal, subscription and clients Organize and coordinate onsite meetings for clients Manage secondary platform data Track and maintain LP commitment data Track investment activity and performance across products Help manage public exposure through annual meetings, industry conferences, databases and seminars Experience & Skills Qualifications At least 1–2 years of relevant professional experience (investment banking, secondary firm, placement agent, or consulting) Undergraduate degree in economics or finance Excellent academic credentials Ability to multi-task, team-player attitude, and a desire to work on a wide range of projects and manage them effectively Strong organizational skills Remarkable attention to detail Strong judgment, maturity, and critical thinking skills Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form Initiative and creativity in problem solving and resourcefulness Strong dedication to the job and ownership of deliverables Ability to move quickly up the learning curve Applicants must be authorized and have the right to work in the country where the role is located without sponsorship Compensation Details Salary range: $100,000–$120,000.
